Credentials of R. Anthony Bauman, APLC

R. Anthony Bauman is certified as a Tax Law Specialist by the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization. He earned an LL. M. (Masters of Law) in taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law, Graduate Tax Program, and has been an Adjunct Professor of Tax Law in the same program since 2002.

Mr. Bauman’s firm, R. Anthony Bauman, APLC, is a Martindale-Hubbell A-V rated law firm. The A-V rating is given to attorneys who have demonstrated preeminent legal skills and the highest legal ethics.

Mr. Bauman has substantial trial experience, having tried some 13 cases to jury verdict, as well as numerous other arbitrations and mediations. Mr. Bauman is a student of negotiation having studied under Professor Roger Fisher at Harvard University’s Negotiation Project – Program of Instruction for Lawyers.

Mr. Bauman was elected by his colleagues as co-chair of the San Diego County Bar Association Taxation Section for the 2006 - 2007 term. He has also served as chairman of the San Diego County Bar Association Tax Court Pro Se Program since January, 2005.
